Books I'm currently reading

As I've said before, I am a voracious book collector and (usually) reader as well. I love books and could spend hours reading. With a very pregnant wife about to deliver, I've built up quite a backlog and hope to get to most of these books in the next few months. Books I am currently reading include:

• AspectJ in Action: Practical Aspect-Oriented Programming by Ramnivas Laddad
• Eclipse: A Java Developer's Guide by Steve Holzner
• Designing Web Services with the J2EE 1.4 Platform : JAX-RPC, SOAP, and XML Technologies by Inderjeet Singh, Sean Brydon, Greg Murray, Vijay Ramachandran, Thierry Violleau, Beth Stearns
• Code Complete, Second Edition by Steve McConnell

In addition to these new books, I am having a renaissance of sorts and re-reading some old books including:

• The Pragmatic Programmer: From Journeyman to Master by Andrew Hunt, David Thomas
• The Elements of Uml Style by Scott W. Ambler
• Expert One-on-One J2EE Design and Development by Rod Johnson

I am also patiently waiting to see the following books that are just released or about to be released:

• Hibernate in Action by Christian Bauer, Gavin King
• Expert One-on-One J2EE Development without EJB by Rod Johnson, Juergen Hoeller
• Better, Faster, Lighter Java by Bruce A. Tate, Justin Gehtland

Now I just need to find a nice lightweight portable laptop that will allow me to be outside reading and coding at the same time.

Update: (07/07) - The Geek Book Club is reading How To Open Locks With Improvised Tools by Hans Conkel and I am hoping to make some of those discussion/meetings.
